What are affiliate links?

How we choose what to recommend

We only recommend products we've personally paid for, used, and stand behind. Our experience with a product is the sole basis for recommending it — no merchant pays for a review or a mention. If a product disappoints us, we won't recommend it, period.

How affiliate links work on this site

Affiliate links on this site use the /go/<slug> redirect pattern. When you click a link like trilochanbhalla.com/go/example, you're redirected to the merchant's site via a 302 (temporary) redirect. This means:

• Your browser doesn't cache the redirect permanently
• We can update destinations without breaking old links
• Search engines don't index the redirect as a backlink to the merchant

All affiliate links are tagged with rel="nofollow sponsored" to comply with Google's link attribute guidelines.

Your trust matters more than commissions

We built this site to share what works. If we recommended products just for the commission, you'd stop reading — and we'd have no site. We'd rather earn nothing from a recommendation than earn something from a bad one.
